Share the Dignity:
The Camden Quilters Guild have extended an invitation for our church to partner with them in a donation drive for toiletries and period care items. Donations will be packed into individual parcels of essential items for teens and adults who are struggling to access these basic needs. The parcels will be distributed across a range of suburbs, including Camden, by 'Share the Dignity', an Australian charity providing period products to women who are homeless, fleeing violence, or doing it tough otherwise. If you choose to donate any items, please give them to Heather Loomes. A packing session will be held on Monday evening, 5th October at 6.30pm with the quilters group at Mawarra Public school hall. You are welcome!

Operation Christmas Child:
CVC will be engaging in Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child project again this year and we would ask you to consider getting involved. Heather has shoeboxes available from now, on request, if you are someone who likes to start shopping early. The dates to bring gift-filled shoeboxes to church this year are 18th and 25th October.
There is also an opportunity to join a small group of CVC volunteers who go to the warehouse and check filled shoeboxes before they are loaded into containers for transport. Shift dates will be in November. To find out more, click here.
